Is this 'hard' thing I'm feeling my baby?

Im 16+2 and I've felt some definite flutters. I'm really thin so I suspect that's why I've felt them this early.

Yesterday, when I was lying flat the Bottom of my stomach (below my belly button) felt hard and there was a clear bump (usually it's just completely flat) and I'm sure I could feel pressure as though the baby was pushing up. It was quite a subtle feeling because I know baby is still tiny. Then I placed the palm of my hand over the bump and it after a couple of seconds it moved, I felt it move away or to the side. I could feel it every now and then push up to the top of my womb so my stomach went really hard again.

I'm just lying down now, and at first my stomach was really flat but then I could see a bump again and it's really hard as opposed to it being slightly softer when it's flat.
Is this my baby moving round? I really don't think it's wind but knowing my luck I'll get all happy and excited and it will just be wind.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but it's my first baby and I've been so excited at every little flutter

It sounds like what I first started to feel, I'm 21 weeks now and she moves around a lot now!

That's exactly what I'm feeling at the moment, I'm 19+3 and have not really felt any of the flutterings or popping others seem to feel but each night when I'm lying still, the right side of my bump goes hard for 20 seconds or so then will move and be soft again. Glad it's not just me Smile

Yep! You will be able to feel a hard area which is your uterus rather than your baby at this stage, its not til much later that you may be abke to feel a foot, hand, head or bum.
