Worried after scan this morning

I had a growth scan on Monday and they checked the placental blood flow and it was bang on in the middle of the percentile chart things. I saw the consultant after, and as I've had quite a few episodes of reduced movements, he arranged for me to have another doppler scan today (just for reassurance I think).

The woman who scanned me said everything was fine, but I've looked at my notes and I'm freaking out a bit. Where the placental bloodflow was right in the middle a few days ago, it's now right down the bottom end. How worried should I be by this? Does it mean the placenta is starting to fail?

(Picture attached to show what I'm on about)

I asked about this at my last scan and if it is the same thing, apparently, the lower it is on that scale, the better as it is all about resistance and means that there is lower (still within the average) resistance to blood flow. Which is what you want.

Hope that helps. Smile

Low is good for PI - I had the same and freaked out, I reckon they should tell you this!

If it is above 95% it's an issue.

I had a growth scan Tuesday, I'm 36 weeks and this is my one. They don't seem concerned by it. They would definitely tell you if there was anything wrong :)
