Awful tummy ache - 18 wks this Friday

Well - as the thread says!

I've had awful tummy ache for over a week now - I went to the GP last week they didn't seem overly bothered but it's really painful now. I've also been suffering a bit with constipation (sorry if too much information) and the pain is always worse at night when I'm laid in bed - any suggestions?

I had excruciating pain yesterday that reduced me to years and I'm 17 weeks and every time I move I'm in agony midwife said its severe round ligament pain a and all the tummy muscles but it feel like a massive kidney infection and like I was being butchered awake call your local maternity assessment unit if your worried x

I'm currently 16 weeks. I've had a tummy ache on and off (more on than off) for about 2 months now. I went to my GP and they put it down to constipation. I started taking fybogel twice a day and this has helped immensely. If I miss even 1 dose though then I'm back to square 1 and it takes a couple of days to feel better again.

I find at night if I lay on my side with a pillow between my knees (helps with the hip pain) and then try to lay as stretched out as possible. It sounds uncomfortable, but it's not. If I'm all scrunched up then it hurts more. I guess it's just about giving your bowels a bit of space back to do their thing :)

I had severe pains on one side recently and thought it was kidney pains/infection too! Ended up going to a&e!!! At midwife appointment this week brought it up and was told you should never underestimate the pain of trapped wind! She told me she has been known to given women who have just gone through labour, morphine for trapped wind.
So it seems I may have ended up in A&E with trapped wind!
So ladies it seems we need to take after the men and just let rip!!!
