Waves of sickness?

I think I'm 6+3 and for the last few days I'm getting waves of nauseous/ feeling light headed throughout the day and evening... Havnt actually been sick though.
Was just wondering if anyone else has had this? Is this a type of morning sickness or just a taster of worse things to come? .. It's my first so I'm clueless!

For me that was as bad as morning sickness got for my two, saying that it was still rubbish at times feeling nauseous most of the time (particularly evenings).

Things that used to help me - eating something before the nausea occurred like salt and vinegar crisps, a baguette or some mash potato (dc2) with dc1 it was fruit and water and that's all I wanted. Just have what you feel like having but try not to let yourself get an empty stomach because that's when it can get worse!

...having said that I don't know if others started with this kind of nausea and moved on to being sick....good luck anyway Grin

Hey, I started off with waves of nausea, then got all day nausea for about 3 weeks, but no actual puking. Now (13wks) just occasional waves. Morning sickness comes in all varieties! Good luck and congratulations!

It might stay like that or get worse or go. I started with waves of nausea with DC1 about 6 weeks - by 9 weeks I was throwing up. Not every day but a few times a week. Mine was worse in the early evening and much worse if you get hungry. None at all with DC2!

Good luck

Thank you both for your replies! .. I hope it does stay on this level, it's rubbish but I can just about cope.. I can't imagine it getting worse and having to go to work every day!
Thanks for the tips too, crisps seem to be the way forward ATM
One thing I can say is, I have a new found respect for any woman that has been through morning sickness and promise to never shrug it off when someone else complains of it!
