I don't want to go out!

Before I got pregnant I was quite a party girl, loved to go out drinking, eating with husband and friends - usually 4 or more nights a week. Now I've had a personality transplant!! I just want to stay in and potter about, I have zero desire to leave the house. Is anyone else finding this!?

When I was pregnant with my first I bawled my eyes out because I couldn't go out and get drunk. Then it got to the point where I was that tired I couldn't be arsed! That was back in 2013. I've still not been drunk since because 3. Months after having DD I got caught pregnant again. It's good that you don't want to go out, your priorities have shifted and that's normal. Even after baby was born I couldn't be bothered going out , I was too busy being a mum Smile

Hormones change you! I knew something was up when we were on holiday and I felt homesick - I have backpacked alone on 5 continents and never once felt a pang - all of a sudden, in a very comfortable and lovely hotel in rural Greece all I wanted to do was go home and watch telly! I was terrified it meant that having a baby would rob me if my wanderlust which is a big part of my personality - I'm now 38 weeks and it's back: bff had to explain to me that I might not actually want to go camping this summer yesterday and DP just put the kibosh on driving round Jordan next spring! You'll be back to being you soon enough :)

I'd still kill for more than 1/2 glass of wine!!

Ah I felt so happy when I saw your title! Im 8wks & for the past 3 have only been out of the house to go to work (& attend family stuff I couldn't get out of). Just want to hibernate close to where my food & bed is Grin I'm told the energy will be back soon.

MissMartin1992 · 25/05/2015 18:10

me too! I love staying in watching the soaps and eating Grin

I'm the same too! My OH and I are going on holiday with some friends in 3 weeks which was booked before I was pregnant. I had a tantrum the other night saying I didn't want to go!

Athenaviolet · 25/05/2015 18:19

I want to go out, but without a bit of alcohol I'm too socially awkward to enjoy socialising.

flanjabelle · 25/05/2015 18:19

I was like this when pregnant. I just wanted to be at home!

MissTwister · 25/05/2015 18:36

NoArmaniNoPunani · 25/05/2015 19:59

I'm the same, going out sucks without alcohol. I'm sick of watching my mates get pissed and being the designated driver
