Maternity clothes and cute baby stuff in London

I live in America and am back this week to visit my family before I get too big to fly! I was hoping to go shopping for some maternity clothes as they seem much nicer here than in the US. From what I've read a lot of the big shops have stopped stocking maternity clothes and only sell them online. Does anywhere know where I can go to shop?

I'm also looking for cute baby stuff such as clothes and things for the nursery. I'm really looking for things that are gender neutral as we are not finding out the sex. Everything in America is either pink or blue!

The only shops I've noticed, apart from specialist baby/maternity shops, that still have mat clothes instore are h&m (which you might have where you are anyway), New Look and Primark.

Most shops have a neutral section with the newborn clothes but I find a lot of it is beige and grey and I prefer bright colours. Found one or two bright sleepsuits in Next.

Have a look at Trotters Childrenswear
There is a website but also a store in London as well

Polarn O Pyret had unisex baby things. As do the Scandinavian brands. There's a lovely shop called "O Baby" in Muswell Hill that stocks them. Well worth a visit though a bit pricier than high street (around £13 for a all in one). There's a range at Mothercare called "little bird" which is unisex.
Maternity clothes: try Seraphine, Mamas and Papas, and Jo Jo Maman et Bebe. Also big branches of H and M and Topshop (West End). I think everywhere else is on line only.

For the baby, you could try Boden (it's online)

For you, Next & H&M are the biggest maternity offering mainly on-line but some of the bigger central London stores might stock them, along with ASOS (who are only on line) The topshop range is really small, imo.

All of these tho will ship for free to the US. I found the choice in the US was actually better than the UK (I was back in the UK in April!)

Go to high St Kensington, there's a seraphine maternity wear shop there on Kensington church street, and the gap and h and m both have maternity wear I think. There's also a trotters selling children's clothing right next to the station ( as well as gap/ h and m/ m and s so baby clothing).
From there it's 5 mins in a taxi to Westfield for more baby stuff like the white company, and individual brands

For neutral baby clothes I would try JoJo Maman Bebe and Next.

I can't think of the names of all of the shops on Marylebone High Street, but there's a Seraphine for you, and loads of children's clothes shops such as Bonpoint and Petit Bateau. They're all a bit pricier than other high street shops but have some lovely things.

Depends what you want to spend but I had fun splashing out on a few items from the Harrods maternity boutique - lots of baby clothes too, of course!
