Hi, after my first pregnancy ending in a bad labour and having a csection im now electing for a c-section with this second baby, but have to wait quite a few weeks before going down to speak to the doctor about it, I just wondered how many weeks roughly they do it? I heard 39 weeks but that can't be right?! I could go into labour before then?!

I found the steroid injections a bit painful, but everything was painful at that stage so I didn't really mind. I was told they do them as standard now for early sections too, so anything before 39 weeks

Due to severe mental health problems (myself not baby obviously) im having an elective section next Thursday. I will be 38+2 days and I am very very scared. They will do it earlier under certain circumstances. All my professionals feel the quicker my baby comes the better for me and baby x I hope they are right x
