Can you swap hospitals and midwife appointments

Just thinking about not being sure about the midwives I've come across so far at Macclesfield Hospital. Also I trust Stepping Hill which is in Stockport, a 40 minute journey in a car for me. So can you just swap hospitals ? I'm not sure if I want midwife appointments here in Macclesfield if I moved to Stockport. Would all my midwife appointments be moved also? I'm 16 weeks.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Yes you can- I swapped at 34 weeks!

I just rang the new hospital midwife I wanted to swap to and it all got sorted out from there.

I changed hospitals at 12 weeks. I filled in an online referral form with the new hospital. Once I was accepted I rang the previous hospital to inform them that I had changed hospitals. Easy Peasy :)

Great.
Did any of you end up travelling much further away to the hospital of your choice?
The hospitals are all so far for me, just wondering if a fourty minute drive whilst in labour will be awful...
