Previously regular cycles now Confusing, dare i believe im pregnant?! Tmi Alert

Hope you dont mind me Posting here as dont want false hope by posting on conception boards.

Have had a clockwork 28 day cycle since I come off the pill last Oct (Hd gone back on it a few months previously until ready to ttc after miscarriage last may)

February cycle varied by around a day earlier so not a large variation. It was quite a bit more painful than usal ( i have endo so used to very painfull periods) and heavier with clots (sorry if tmi).
Last month i had spotting on cd25 and briefly wonderd if it could be an implantation bleed as not expecting it until cd28 at least and i only spot right before i start my period.

The next day it quickly turnt into full on period so it came ealier than expected and only lasted around 5 days usally lasts 7 and seemed lighter and less painful.
I went for my first session of acupunctre on cd2 so not sure how much a diffrence it made, it seemed to help. She also gave me some ttc tips which i tried this cycle.

Currently on cd 23. Dtd on cd 7,8,11,15. (couple of other occasions in between forgot to note days). Had ovulation pain located on one side on cd12

Late on CD18 i dtd and ( sorry if tmi ) straight after i noticed some light pink discharge which at first glance i mistook for post coital bleeding ( had this in past although seemed to coincide when using pill and not had it for few months). i then thought it odd as its usally bright red if it happens and few specks or streaks of blood in discharge which dissapears after few wipes. The pinky discharge lasted until i went to sleep i woke up in the morning to find it now a light gloopy brown ?? It lasted until later that evening. I have never had this.

I started having some very mild period like cramps later that morning and have had it on and off this week with it intesifiying. Today i have a pressure in my tummy almost like i have been inflated and feel i need to release some pressure and really uncomfortable.

Had some odd shooting/ stretching n ( similar) to ovulation type pains across abdomen on cd21 and a mild lower back ache on one side which dissapeared as fast as it come really thought i was about to start my period really early
.have hd sore achy boob from cd20 and been eating nonstop feeling urge to pee alot.
Had this in previous cycles and not been preg so cant put too much stock into it.

Going by previous two cycles I am due anytime between 20th April and 24th.
Despite the cramping on and off there is no sign of af as of yet not a speck of anything. On constant knicker watch . Has anyone had experience of this and gone on to get a bfp??

Knowing me just hopeful thinking and another odd cycle or it was post coital bleeding .
any advice greatly appriciated Xxx

Are your pains one - sided? I'm 38 wks, had MMC & chemical last year, but with this pregnancy it was really weird.

normally I have sore boobs immediately following ovulation until I get AF.

This time I felt ov pain on left, no sore boobs, but sore back (again left hand side). In 2nd wk of TWW left boob ONLY got really sore, and stayed that way. right boobs only joined the party about a week after BFP.

It's impossible to know without POAS, pregnancy symptoms are so like PMS symptoms, but I remember saying to DH that I wasn't even hopeful for that cycle because I felt normal, apart from 50% of the normal PMS symptoms.

Im so sorry to hear of your mmc and chemical pregnancy. My good friend went through a mmc a few days before her 12 week Scan. It was heartbreaking to watch. My miscarrige last year was a chemical pregnancy and i felt heartbroken . It was my first long awaited pregnancy.

My doctor said she suspected it was a chemical pregnancy as they never go past 5 weeks. I was 5+1 so the very furthest it can go it seems .
he way the doctor explained it was that the pregnancy never really got started ( i really hope i dont sound insensitive and/or upset you) i left docs dazed and looked it up and from what i understand the egg didnt implant or was lost shortly after.

In regards to it being one sided i think iv had it located one side only yes .ovulation pain was the right side. Then Cd 17 ( just jogged my memory) i had a poking feeling(?) on the right side again and towards the middle of bottom of abdomen. Then cd21 i had the shooting pains on right then going across my abdomen. I have one boob soorer /more sensitive than the other it seems to be the left one though? I say this as i was out a few days ago and a gust up wind blew up and the left one really kicked up hurting at that same moment. Very weird.

Im trying so hard to remember how it all felt last time round and from what i can remember ( like you) pysically i dont remember really feeling diffrent leading up to my bfp. I think it was more gut instinc that made me test. i do remember having a few instances of waves of nasua when waking up in the morning which went as quick as they arrived so wonderd if it was my imgination. ALso i had the same with the odd mettalic taste.

I do remember waking up one morning and clutching my right boob( lol) and it feeling like id been punched in it and waking up in the middle of the night to pee.

I did have an odd thing happen on cd18. I was talking To my partner about a medical procedure a friend had done as he didnt fully understand. Im not overly squemish but found myself running to the loo as i felt like i was going to be sick and sat there retching for a few mins. I sat for around another 5-10 mins as i felt nauseated still and come over really hot . After that i was fine. Felt slightly sick last night
But may of overate. Probably clutching at straws .

I know i will only know if i test.

Im not sure if i should test yet as ( due to odd cycles) im currently unsure if i am 3 days Away from my expected period or (up) to 7 days away . I wont know if the test is negative because im not pregnant or its just far too early which i think will add to the dissapointment later.

My main worry after a chemical pregnancy is im scared of testing so early and getting my bfp. Last time I tested 3-5 days early (before period) at 10-11 dpo.

I have done a pregnancy test calculator based on a 25 day cycle if i test today its possible to get a bfp. On a 28 day cycle its too early. I do have a dip strip test and im debating. it wont be the fmi ( obviously) it says fmu is optimun but can be used anytime of the day. How many hours should i leave it after last pee to test? Currently finding it very difficult to pysically hold it in!

just wanted to add i found the dipstick tests rubbish. i did some asda tests on a thursday, due af the following monday and got a feint positive if you have an asda nearby. they do a 2 pack for about £4. good luck

Thank-you for your advice . I wont be able to get to ansda for the time being, whish i had had known before about them lol will bear it in mind for the future.

Well i caved and did the dip stick ( the same style as internet cheapy ones) which was negative. It came with a Little pot which i found very shallow and i had to tip the test back slightly to pick up some of the urine i think i messed the test up.

With previous pregnancy i brought a batch of ics off of ebay.
I tested at 10,11 and 12 dpo although chance i ovulated day later than i thought. I got bfn on 10 dpo not fmu, a faint faint shadow ( so faint i took it as negative) on 11dpo and a faint shadow of a line on 12dpo with fmu which i repeated late morning got a very faint but defintly more visible line.I confirmed a bfp with a digi test.

I also brought the tesco own brand pack of 2 tests for 3.50 to back up the (ic cheapy style) dip test
I did a tesco one earlier this evening with same sample from dip test. I think these are only really designed to be done on the day af is due.
It Looked to be negative but thought i could see a shadow of a faint line.

I had read the reviews online and one review said that the plastic casing on the test window made it difficult to see if it was a line . I removed the whole front casing of the test so the strip is exposed and can see a very faint shadow of a line. Not sure if eyes deceiving me or hopeful thinking, probably both Xxx

These were my tests before af was due. The first two were some cheap home bargains ones. At a quick glance you cant see anything it really was just a shadow but i saw it. Is there anywhere else you could go for a test or do you have another tesco one? Hold a wee in for a while then pee in the stick

Thank-you for sharing your pics and belated congrats lol.
I can see what you mean on the first two. the line on my test isnt even as dark as that its like it starts from the top and the bottom but dosnt meet in the middle if that makes sense. Im sure its my eyes seeing things. From what i can gather from the leaflet ( no info on outer box) the test is meant to be from the day your period is due.

I have one left and am debating if i should do it tommorow morning. If it comes back as a another shadow line or faint posotive i will want to get another test to confirm before getting xcited which wont be possible for a bit .

Holiding my pee in now until 6 am at the earliest lol so 6 hours in case i decide do it i think 6 hours will give it a better chance right? Off to bed will check back in morning xxx

P.s yes test is tesco one

oh thats a shame although it could just be too early. lots of people dont get a positive until after af has been missed.

I didn't get BFP until AF was 2 days late. I got it on Clearblue regular - 25miu. I agree with Ginger (if you're talking about Internet cheapies supposedly 10miu) they didn't work for me until about a week later

Hi Ladies sorry for the delay in reply havnt felt too well have been coming in after work and going to bed . Well safe to say Af has arrived today. Had some brown discharge tues evening just as i had ripped open a FRER , typical.
Went ahead with test which was a BFN.

Brown discharge dissapered as soon as it come. Had the aches tuesday evening and hip pain yesterday as well as sickness headaches and light headedness . But no further discharge . Still aching today and only just had first showings of full AF. This cycle has dragged this month. Feel so drained from it . One consolation is my cycle seems to have gone back to 28 days?.

I had felt completly confused as what day to expect
AF ( hoping she wouldnt show) and needed to try and work it around work ( difficult to work with endo.) I looked back at previous cycles and found even with the odd length cycles AF has started exatcly 15 days after i have had ovulation pain. So in theory i should have started Af on monday not today which is 18 days. So baffled again.

Feel pretty gutted but trying not to get too own in myself.
