Anyone any tips on how to bring on labour? Fed up now and if I have to wait I will but if there's things I could be doing that will be beneficial Id appreciate it, or has anyone had a first child early? Ty

I feel your pain! 39+5 here and totally over being pregnant.
I went to 42+1 with my first which was horrendous as I was induced and still took 3 days. It appears my body doesn't like going into labour and thinks it has the gestational period of an elephant!

I'm desperately hoping I don't have to be induced this time but it's looking that way.

I tried everything with my first. Pineapple, curry, raspberry leaf tea, sex etc and nothing worked so don't want to give false hope. Mw couldn't even do a sweep as my cervix was so unfavourable!

Hang on in there. Try (?) I know it's hard- to enjoy the rest.
It's hard, frustrating and uncomfortable but there's not much you can do im afraid. Nature is nature!

I'm gettin so fed up, having a lot of pressure on my bladder, and especially my pelvic area. Finding it hard to walk and even going to the shop I have severe back pain. Should I be concerned? I'm seeing a midwife tomorrow like so hopefully the head is engaged I don't want to go over very much you see x

You don't need to be concerned. It just sucks though, doesn't it. I'm 37 + 5 with #2 and I'm done. Walking is just too much at the moment! My first came at 38 weeks exactly so in my mind I'm expecting this one soon. Can't imagine if I end up preggo for nearly another 4 weeks. Aargh! Think we just have to wait it out.
