I'm 5 weeks pregnant with dc2. Could I really be developing a bump?! If you've already had a dc or dcs, when did you start to 'show'?

im 11weeks exactly today, im already overweight (size 16) but i am definitely expanding. doesnt look too bump like at the mo due to all the podge over the top but im sure people will be guessing.

i had an mmc at 9 weeks in november so technically 2nd pregnancy.

With my second I had a definite bump by 8 weeks but it's just swelling and bloating at that stage. I thought it actually felt more uncomfortable than when the proper bump arrived Angry

I'm 13 weeks, and all I have is an 'apron gut'. Its so irritating, the top part of my stomach is flat-ish, my bottom half looks like I've been overdosing on Easter eggs. For about a year. The only time I look pregnant is when I need to pee. Really hope I pop soon, this in between stage is a bit poo. Then again, this is my first, I hear I might not 'show' for weeks yet Sad.

Considering the embryo is about as big as a sesame seed I very much doubt it's baby bump yet.... As already said, probably just bloating and swelling.

Lucy61 · 30/03/2015 12:52

I know I know it's not baby yet but I'm soo big alreadyConfused!!! And I haven't been over eating (hiding bag of haribos behind back).

I have a wedding to go to when I'll be 11 weeks +3. I know I'll be big by then but won't be able to say I'm pregnant. Everyone will guess as I won't be drinking either. At this rate, I'll need a new dress too. Hmm

Swelling/bloating (that has been constant) from 10 weeks. Actual bump around 17. First baby

mrstothemr · 30/03/2015 13:27

8 weeks here with #2 and I've definitely already got that paunchy look you get before actually having a bump. The gas and swelling is very obvious to me, though dh says I look fine and you'd not guess

sianihedgehog · 30/03/2015 13:33

Fat by around 9 weeks, bump showed up around 17 or 18 weeks.

changingagain · 30/03/2015 13:33

I'm 18 weeks tomorrow. I had a bloated belly by week 6 and it started looking like an actual pregnancy bump about 2 weeks ago. Maternity trousers are still loose but they stay up now, which is good, as the zip broke on my regular work trousers at the start of last week despite me restitching the button to give more room.

GoooRooo · 30/03/2015 13:36

I'm 14 weeks with DC 2. I'm huge. I look at least 18 weeks.

I started getting a bump at about 10 weeks this time and it's really grown in the last week.

Lucy61 · 30/03/2015 17:43

Just been for a long walk and feel a bit 'lighter'. I think I've been very sedentary because of feeling so tired. This makes me feel bloated and large. A bit of exercise does wonders.

I have had serious bloating issues since about week 8 - looked like a bump starting to show, but I knew it was only wind / constipation / over-eating (just can't seem to stop shoving food in my mouth even when I feel sick....).
Now 13 weeks and a smaller, more definite bump showing (this is DC2) - which is not ALL wind and bloating... Can't fit in normal work clothes and too small for maternity clothes - so at the very annoying stage as mentioned by pp.

Agree exercise good to reduce the bloat - but have been too knackered to get off my arse and do anything except get to work and drop off / pick up DC1...

Hope it settles

I'm 12 weeks and definitely no actual bump but I have expanded generally - none of my trousers will fasten. So I have basically just got a bigger arse, thighs and belly - lovely. Although if I have a day where I eat a lot I look a lot more massive than usual by the evening! Ready for a bump now so I can legitimately wear maternity trousers instead of only being able to wear jeans with the help of a hair bobble!
