MMR vaccine one week before pregnant...any similar experiences please?

Hi, I am 18 weeks pregnant and have just found out there could be concerns over vaccinations I had a week before I became pregnant. I had an MMR booster and Hepatitis B vaccine. I was asked if I was pregnant which I wasn't. However I am now happily pregnant but have found out it is advised you don't conceive for a month after the MMR vaccine. My week '0' is only one week after the vaccine. Though its unknown when I actually conceived- likely a further two weeks after this date. If anyone has had a similar experience I would really appreciate hearing about it. I am very worried and anxious all the time that I might have harmed my baby. Thanks

I think you're fine... Did they ask you any questions about your cycle at your mmr appointment? Seems a little strange that they wouldn't do a test if they thought it was likely. Like you say, though they count it from week 0 you're likely to have actually conceived in week 2 so very nearly there anyway. I'm sure it's absolutely fine, there are so many rules and regs of being preggers these days and as you get further along you'll get people telling you they were told to do exact opposites to what you've been advised 'in their day'. I think they just say a lot of things to cover themselves but if in doubt, book an appt with your gp or call the community midwife, just to put your mind at rest :-)

Hi, They did ask if I was pregnant which I wasn't. But a week later is my week 0. Like you said I'm hoping I conceived a few weeks after so that I was three weeks from the vaccination. I've called my GP who is looking into it for me. My midwife is back in on Tuesday so am going to call her too. Hopefully I will be reassured. I've read some online studies of women in the same situation and there are no concerns with their babies once born. They say it is a theoretical risk. Still scary though. Especially as i should have known there might be a risk if I'm being asked if I'm pregnant. Just didn't realise it was for a month after too. But i should have looked into it more before becoming pregnant. Thanks for your support
