Yesterday, one of the teachers at DD's preschool said to me, "Every time I see you, you look less pregnant!" I'm 22+5 but don't really have a bump (I didn't with DD either). As far as the OBs and I can tell, the baby is growing as he should be. Um, thank you, I guess?

What odd things have people said to you?

'I take it you're not going to bother looking for a job then'

I've been made redundant but I'm only 3 months pregnant. I'm applying for jobs left, right and centre. Why would I and how could I afford to sit on my arse for the next 5/6 months Confused

With DS1 a woman at work came over and asked me if I was pregnant because I looked 'haunted' like all pregnant women do. I was about 6 wks and hadn't told a sole. I laughed it off. It freaked me out.

Lucifer Confused well that's not fecking scary! Shock

Silly cah in the shop predicts the sex by looking at the bump and it changes each week. Annoying and invasive. Hmm

Lucifer that is really quite creepy!

I get people telling me that my bump looks bigger every week. Umm yes, that's part of the deal...

Number3cometome · 24/03/2015 16:27

"you're bump looks small today"

Yeah i've tucked it in my fecking jeans you arsehole Hmm

littlesupersparks · 24/03/2015 16:38

I found the comments about my bump getting bigger a bit irritating. I'm expecting twins - on my stroppiest days I would say 'well they're not getting any smaller in there!' Lol

catnip85 · 24/03/2015 17:00

A couple of people have remarked that I have "a very neat bump" is there any way that bumps can look untidy?!

Newlywed56 · 24/03/2015 17:35

A close family member told me I will never reach my due date as my bump is too big (pretty sure I was about 20 weeks, (now 33) at the time) so the baby will be at least a month early. Lol guess I will find out if they're right in a few weeks time!

We went for a meal in the local pub and this woman i vaguely know insisted i was too small and was my midwife concerned and how i looked small for dates and how tiny it looked.
FECK OFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MSMB · 24/03/2015 23:03

Up until 22 weeks everyone kept telling me how small I was, this made me feel really panicked like something was wrong I'm now 28 and I get mixed reactions of some people telling me how giant I am and some saying how petite I look....
