While pregnant? I'm 20 wksand already struggling a bit. Only have a bath, no shower, and getting my leg up to shave is not comfy. As for bikini line/trimming, theres a belly in the way!

Lovely therapist comes to my house and does bikini wax. Next one is last one pre-birth so I'm going for a Hollywood. EEK!

Get dh to do the delicate bits, but mostly not bother!

rosedavo · 15/03/2015 18:16

On the side of my bath i balance a mirror and stand up to see my downstairs bits lolBlush. And the lwgs are a combo of normal lying down but twisting legs in funny angle and standing up with foot on side of bath!

I've given up for the moment, (am 31+4), might book in for leg wax and a bikini tidy up when on maternity leave to make me feel better and a treat :)

I keep up my sugaring routine down there in a salon. No problem with shaving legs so far though, I simply lift and put my foot on the edge of the bathtub. 20 weeks as well and quite a belly already.

Gemzybelle · 15/03/2015 18:54

37 weeks here. Reduced to shaving blindly and hoping for an intact labia at the end of it

letitpea · 15/03/2015 18:59

Think I need to start standing in the bath. And maybe revisit waxing for the bikini line. Find it quite painful!

I've bed having my Brazilian as normal every four weeks. I can no longer see to trim in between waxes but my beautician is happy todo this before waxing for me! Lol

SueV14 · 15/03/2015 22:13

OP, you should try sugaring instead of waxing. Less painful and much more gentle on your skin. However it may not be the best idea to start now during pregnancy if you're not used to waxing already. I've been doing it for many years and notice no difference in pain levels to pre-pregnancy, but maybe you'll find it painful if you try during pregnancy first time.

I've been doing my bikini line blind, I can still wax the edges myself but the rest is hoping for the best. My DH admitted it was a little wonky lol will probably get it done properly at some point

Number3cometome · 16/03/2015 10:24

I just slap hair removal cream all over the place and hope for the best!

obeliaboo · 16/03/2015 11:58

I've given up, but i would like a nice tidy up haha
