Just had my cervix stitched...

...and wondering if anyone out there is going / has gone through the same thing...? I had it carried out on Tuesday and I'm feeling a bit achy around my lower back and have had a couple of period like cramps.

I posted ages ago when I was told that my cervix could turn out to be a tad useless and had a nice, supportive message - can't remember your name though or find the blinkin' thread. So, if you are there...'hello again'!

I'm 26+5 and keeping everything crossed until the some what safer 28 week mark. Hopefully the pretty bow I now have adorning my nether regions stops my cervix from shortening and funneling enough to keep 'in' the tiny dancer I have bopping away on my bladder.

Fun being pregnant isn't it?!

hi all well i now have a wonderful baby girl born at 37wks weighin 6lb 10oz!
What a relief for her to be her safely at last the stitch did its job on my cervix which is a very bad case of incompetance from what the docs have all said, they said to carry full term without it would of been imposible so i thank god for the docs who diognosed me with the incompetant cervix.The stitch comin out was not pain full at all i was dreadin it from what i ad hurd off other people but it was just like a smear, it came out on 27th waters broke 31st but no pains ad to be taken in at 6pm on 1st jan to be brought on cause of infection my first contraction was at 3.50am Ava mae was born at 7.50am! it was quick but very pain full cause of the drip they used!
Im so greatfull though to that little stitch thats in side, if it worked for me theres hope for any one!try to stay positve and not to worry let the docs do ther job ur in the best hands!
Also i was off work the hole of my pregnancy with bed rest in between so i would def get ur doc to sign u off the risk is to high
