Hospital has ballsed up and booked mw appointment, which was today - but had nothing at all in the system for a scan, which I was originally told would be at the same time. I've been so worked up about this scan, as I have virtually no symptoms and am terrified something is wrong, and now I've got to wait until Monday even to phone for an appointment.

Ack!!! Is it legal to murder hospital receptionists who talk to you as if it's your fault?!

I'm very sorry, that sounds awful! Really disappointing and very upsetting.

See when the next available scan is and if you feel you are waiting too long you could possibly have a private scan? Although the one I had was £99 which I think is quite average. You can usually get private scans more quickly than NHS ones.

Sorry again, let me know how it goes.

Was it your 12 week scan? If so, and youve opted to have the nuchal measurement taken, you really need to push them to get it rescheduled ASAP as it needs to be done before 14 weeks.

Yep, would have been 12 weeks but I'm a late ovulator, so luckily only 10 weeks and a bit. But I was so wound up about it, it's torture still not knowing :(

If you are that early they would have asked you to come back again in a couple of weeks anyway - I had a scan at, I think, 11 weeks 3 days with ds and it was two days early for the to do the nuchal fold measurements and I had to go back two weeks later.
