Can you drink too much raspberry leave tea?!

I'm 38+6 weeks and I've just discovered that I actually really like raspberry leaf tea! I know it's quite likely to have absolutely no affect, but I was 2 weeks overdue with dd1 so I'm trying everything I can this time round!

Anyone else trying raspberry leaf tea - how many cups a day are you drinking? Can you drink too many?

Hiya dinner

I'm the same with the tea - loving it but don't want to drink too much. I'm 39+1 and on about three a day.

I thought it probably didn't do much but when I looked it up, it says don't drink it before 36 weeks so hoping that means it does something .... Anything!!!

Hopefully someone will come along shortly who can tell us!

Thanks! I've started with two cups a day but I think I'll have three cups a day from tomorrow, as long as no one is along to tell us this is a really bad idea! I really don't want to be overdue again!

I drank about 5-8 cups a day when I was pg with DS (I really liked it! and was a nice alternative to caffeine free coffee/tea) and can categorically say, having gone 14 days over and having to be induced, that it did absolutely bugger all!

Awwww jacks you've broken my heart! Wink ah well, a t least I like the taste!

Ha yes I suspect it won't do much good. But at least this time I'll feel like I've tried everything I can to get baby moving! Last time round I just wallowed in bed feeling fed up.

m33r I've read that eating dates is supposed to help as well, although I think you're meant to start at 36 weeks. Good job I like those as well!

Next on the list is spicy food and long walks!
