19+4 3rd baby no movement yet?

As title says I'm 19+4 now with baby no3, though my youngest is 8 so it's been a while since I was last pregnant. I haven't felt a single flutter yet, not after icy drinks, nothing. I am a size 12 so not really overweight to have excess fat in the extreme. I can hear a heartbeat perfectly fine on the doppler, I just don't know whether it's something to worry about or perfectly normal. I had felt both my other children by now.

I felt my first at about 14 weeks. My second...little devil was well tucked away, scared me senseless! I didn't feel her move until the day I went for my 20 week scan and I cried with joy as she thumped the sonographer! You can hear the heartbeat, that's what's important, don't worry.

I don't think I felt anything much this time until around 20 weeks. My placenta is up front so that was cushioning a lot of action. As long as the heartbeat is fine I wouldn't be worried yet. When is your 20 week scan? That should be coming up and might make you relax a little.

My scan is next Thursday, it can't come soon enough! The doppler has been a godsend, I think if I didn't have that I would be driving myself crazy by now. I had thought about the placenta being in the way but I guess they can't tell that until a scan, nothing was mentioned about it at my 12w one.

1st baby, 20 weeks
2nd baby 11 weeks
3rd baby, thought I could feel bubbles from 12 weeks, but this went very quiet until week 16, then a few quiet movements. Started getting stronger last week and now I can feel movements although not as often as DC2.

Scan yesterday revealed anterior placenta, so that explains that!

I am 20 weeks today with dc2 and only just felt movement for the first time yesterday (19+6).

I feel your pain - it's such a worry when you can't feel them and you don't feel sick any more isn't it??

Hearing the HB is a great sign that everything is fine and I am sure you will start to feel him/her in the next few days.

Hi I have an anterior placenta and didn't feel this baby move (my third) until 20 weeks - then just tiny flutters. Proper movements didn't start until 25/26 weeks.
Now at 30 lots of kicks - BUT still nothing like as clear as my other two pregnancies. On the scan the sonographer couldn't believe I couldn't feel movement as the baby was a right wriggler.

Try not to worry (I know I did) - I expected to feel movement so early, and was weirded out when I had a big bump but no flutters or anything.

It helps to know it's more common than I thought. Thank you. It's so worrying, I'm having nightmares that all will be awful at the scan but as long as I can hear the heartbeat at least I know baby's alive in there. I know that sounds a bit morbid but pregnsncy hormones are making me slightly crazy!
