Forcing myself to have weetabix with raisins and apricots for breakfast as antidote to constipation (is working - hooray) but other than that all I want is bacon sandwiches. Had one in cafe on way to work and then had to go another route home to have one from a different cafe (too embarrassed to have two in a day from same place). Didn't have lunch won't fancy dinner, know weetabix and two bacon sandwiches not a healthy diet but honestly is all I can stomach

Then eat bacon sandwiches!

Doggygirl · 04/03/2015 18:25

Eat the sandwiches but try to eat fruit and veg too.

My craving was chewing toothbrushes...

WaxOnWaxOff · 04/03/2015 18:26

at this early stage, just eat whatever you can stomach. all I could eat was chip shop chips, covered in gravy and salad cream.

worriedmum100 · 04/03/2015 18:38

I'm nearly 12 weeks and went through a bacon sarnie phase. Had to be starbucks though. I'm now on a chicken and coleslaw sarnie on soft white bread phase. It's all I fancy.

Eat whatever you can stomach. There's always the second trimester to munch on myself and quinoaWink

My craving in my first pregnancy was avocado. So much healthier. (Though chewy fruit sweets and orange juice in second).

I'm in a McDonald's cheeseburger phase. The 99p ones, not an actual nice one. I'm just allowing myself and suppressing the self-hate.

countessmarkyabitch · 04/03/2015 19:02

I'm obsessed with oj this time, but it has to be the expensive stuff, preferably with the bits? I'm going broke drinking this much...Grin

hestialou · 04/03/2015 19:14

Had the bacon sarnies phase for a week, np cant eat bacon..enjoy it whilst it lasts (maybe turn one into a blt to get some salad?) I am on to yogurt phase...particularly drinking yoghurt yumyum

timeforsleepnow · 04/03/2015 19:21

I remember the bacon sandwich phase! Just go with it

Ladypug · 04/03/2015 20:28

I'm in the bacon sandwich phase right now! Thought it was weird, don't normally even like bacon! It's all I want every morning!!! X

Ah! Thank you. Am 11+6 with DC#3. Had totally forgotten about the constant sickness - never sick, but constant lurching churning nausea. Bleurgh. The only thing that makes it subside is eating. It's so weird. I've also been through a McDs phase (and consequently so have DS 1&2...I've been judging myself from within my own, rapidly expanding, Judgy Pants while watching them mainline fries, Fruitshoots and burgers). Today I bought thick sliced white bread and Lurpack. Have eaten early the whole loaf. And mash with loads of salt and ketchup. And a whole packet of Percy Pigs. Didn't even share with the boys. Baby centre sent me an email today saying not to worry if I haven't out on much weight yet, and that my appetite should return soon. Who are they kidding? Lurpack

BusyCee · 04/03/2015 20:48

(Thanks for the rant. Haven't told anyone yet really and am astounded by how horrendous this first chunk has been. Had totally forgotten. Lovely to know I'm not lone on the food front t least). And pls forgive the random Lurpack at the end of last post. Phone is playing up

Psmith83 · 04/03/2015 20:49

I went through a sausage sandwich phase. I loathed the idea of fruit and veg. Just go for it! By 14 weeks I was back to 'normal'

Crumbelina · 04/03/2015 20:49

I know the feeling WildPoppy! All I want to do is mainline sugar and live on Monster Munch and chips.

On my way home now (staying with the in-law while we have building work done) and I'm going to be faced with a plate of something healthy with lashings of vegetables - bleugh!!

We're keeping the pregnancy secret for another 4 weeks. Sad

BusyCee · 04/03/2015 20:55

Oh Crumbelina! Pickled onion monster munch!!!! Drool!

Are a tub sandwich on thick white bread with salt and vinegar crisps inside at the weekend. Bliss while I was eating it. Repeated on me all afternoon.

Crumbelina · 04/03/2015 21:03

To be fair I've loved Monster Munch forever. Smile

Yum to thick white bread, yum to salt and vinegar and yum to lovely bland, dry food!

wildpoppy · 04/03/2015 21:25

I just managed an orange and a crunchie for tea!

I'm 18wks now and my nausea has passed thankgod so am able to eat a better variety. Still craving savour stuff though. Would really quite like a sausage sarnie white bread and brown sauce!!

Choccywoccydodah · 05/03/2015 07:53

NottaLotta I remember you! 'Waves frantically' Congrats!!
I'm 6 weeks and can't stomach a lot at the moment but beef monster munch, oj with bits and chewy fruit sweets were my vice with ds!!

Nutellalover14 · 05/03/2015 11:04

I have just came back from the wee shop as i really wanted a Sausage & Onion Roll with brown sauce, even though i've also had a bowl of porridge and fruit this morning. Am soo hungry. I just couldn't face eating a packet of Belvita Biscuits. I just polish it off and my goodness it was awesome :)
Am only 5+5

TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams · 05/03/2015 11:20

I know a strict vegetarian who could only eat chicken kievs for 3 months, and then moved onto a white processed food diet. She'd previously been a food fascist about her organic kale. T'was very amusing Grin

Enjoy the bacon!
