Hi all I'm making home-made soap and would like to know what essential oils are safe for me to use during the whole of my pregnancy please. Really don't want unspent end as I like my fragrances!??

No expert but did some research.

Citrus oils are save, such as lemon, lime, tangerine.
Also neroli and lavender.

Not safe are rose, rose geranium, sage, melissa from what I remember, but different sources differ.

Im mostly using lemon, lavender and tangerine as really the scent sensitivity got horrible. Lemon is the best!

Started to hate lime, but love it before pg.

I thought rose was okay no?

Rose is not safe in first trimester. I know that because was planning to get rose body oil and rose hydrosol while I was in first trim. But good thing I didnt, i didnt realize at that time how sensitive to scents I became.
And I used to like strong scents!

You might find different info but I think it is better to error on safe side. But doubt if you add couple if drops into soap anything will happen.

what about Neroli, black pepper and ylang ylang mix while preg? I'm new to essential oils, want a feminine but uplifting clean scent?

I found this www.babycentre.co.uk/x536449/is-it-safe-to-use-essential-oils-while-im-pregnant this morning while looking it up myself. My DH is a delivery driver and a shop he delivered to sells bath bombs made with essential oils. They gave him a huge bag of stuff which is great cos we've found baths seems to help relax me quite a bit and ease cramps.

That's fab, lucky you! The link is great, thanks Grin
