Palpitations when lying down and shortness of breath at 14 weeks

I am 14 weeks pregnant and have been having really bad palpatations when I lie down, especially if I lie on the left side. I am also very short of breath. The midwife is going to see me on Thursday , she said this can be normal but can be more complicated so she will do some bloods to rule some things out. Anyone any experience if these symptoms? And what could she be ruling out?

I'm 22 + 4, fit and healthy and have also noticed this... Having an ecg this week and blood tests for anemia. Not panicking as Gp listened to my heart and food BP etc and everything was fine - she thinks it's just a pregnancy thing as there are changes to the circulation etc, for me the tests are just a precaution.

Hope you feel better! Flowers

I'm currently 15+3 and have been having this since around 10weeks. I'm perfectly healthy and the midwife has said its just one of those pregnancy things, she wasn't particularly concerned. It's very annoying, I just try and take deep breaths and wait for it to pass.
