Just wondering if anyone on here who suffers from herpes also had high blood pressure / pre-eclampsia in pregnancy?
Myself and a good friend both suffered pre-eclampsia with our first borns and turns out we both have herpes. I just wonder if there is a link between the two. Can't find much on the internet but do see an article that mentions a link between herpes and hypertension.
Did mention it to my midwife but she wasn't overly interested in pursuing.
Would be interested to know if any others have had both conditions as whenever I have an outbreak my BP seems to go high. Coincidence maybe but you never know.
