Had my GTT yesterday. It's come back that I am not diabetic again. Thank fully.
I had it with my son,(one week early) he was 8lb6

Didn't with my daughter 6lb14 ( one week late)

Baby number 3 I'm 29weeks pg, she said was measuring just under 90th centile, what does this mean? I'm petrified? Is this a definite huge mammoth baby that I'm baking?
I noticed during the ultrasound it said baby u/s age 32weeks?
I had such a quick labour and birth with my 2nd I was hoping for a home birth with this baby, will they still allow this even if they think my baby will be big? Considering I'm not diabetic I'm hoping so.

Scan measurements can be a whole pound out. It is not an exact science.

Gah! Your bump might be measuring big for a number of reasons: lots of waters, position of the baby.

The GTT has shown there's nothing medically worrying going on so try to relax! Your body is unlikely to grow a baby that's too big for you to birth!

My first baby was 9lb4oz and I had him with just has and air and it was fine. Labour was straightforward he was in a good position. Small tear, healed fine.

Now pregnant with dc2 and planning a HB, even though this baby is likely to be massive as well. Big babies are lovely and snuggly :-) xx

Btw DS was 91st centile for weight and height at birth and his head circumference was off the chart! It was fine. Your body is built to do this.

Don't worry, both of mine were 92nd centile - DS born on due date weighing 9lb, DD 38 weeks weighing 8lb 2oz.

Expecting DC3 in July, they put me a week forward at my 12 week scan (Which is know is wrong) I am having growth scans every four weeks (pre-eclampsia in previous pregs)

I am having a GTT in April, but don't think it is that, just that I have bigger babies.

Sorry should have said - i'm 19+5

Thank you all, it's just a worry, she measured the waters during the scan and then said that this one won't be a tiddler. I asked if this indicates be being diabetic again, she said yes but not for definite.

So happy that I am not though.

Hoping consultant will let me have the birth I want like before x
