It's our first real month TTC and a couple of days ago I got a bfp at 9-10 DPO.

Since the day before I got the bfp I've been absolutely shattered. As in - I had to leave a lecture I was giving halfway and get a train home in a daze. Been that way since. I just feel like sleeping and laying on the sofa all day.

Next - I have been getting AF type cramping. It's not constant but is there much of the time. It's nothing string as AF but the cramping in lower belly worries me. No spotting etc.

It's 11 DPO today and AF would be due on Friday. Should I worry? Did anyone get a bfp and get these AF type cramps as well? And is it common to feel this tired?

My family live on another continent and while I have a fabulous DH - he is British and has his family in the uk - and I am feeling a bit bamboozled with everything! Really sorry if these are silly questions which has been asked before!

totally normal, AF-like cramps were my first symptom with both pregnancies.

I second that, in fact if you add dizzy and cold that's the only symptoms I have!

Extreme tiredness was a big symptom for me, I was in bed at 8.30/9ish for weeks and I also had AF like cramps.

Normal normal normal normal. My first symptom before getting my bfp was feeling really spaced out, then really tired. Period-like cramps are very normal too, I also get those.

I think I'm at exactly the same stage as you Focus, as in due my period on Friday or Saturday, and got a BFP on Tuesday, so I'm officially 3wks 5 days pregnant. I've been having what feels like "mild" AF cramps all week, which I'm told by my midwife sister is normal! I'm also exhausted.

I had a teensy bit of spotting yesterday which terrified me, but nothing today. Fingers crossed!

Hello bowies - bfp buddy :)

Now I have another worry. Today I've actually been loads better. Cramping has subsided but for the occasional pang or twinge. And fatigue has gone from being constant daylong to dizzy ess when getting up or an overwhelming Half hour in the afternoon when I took to bed, but am just fine now. Right nipple has gone from being almost raw sore to being sore when prodded. Shit. Now I am worried about you know..,if something is going wrong and kicking myself for complaining about the signs before :( I am doing pee sticks by the hour and the last one which is 8th pee of the day showed a faint line. Scared, scared, scared. Why am I getting better suddenly?

Period due would be tomorrow or Saturday, like Bowie. Trying to keep busy with colleagues, students and work. DH on his once in two years night out with school best friends on Saturday so if anything goes wrong after he leaves, it's me and only me. And pooch. But she's only little and just knows how to cuddle. Not how to soothe and comfort.

Oh gosh. Why am I worried that my killer fatigue seems to have settled down?! And my constant cramps have becomes twinges?

Try not to worry, it's not an exact science is it. I, like you, am terrified but try and keep the faith! There's no reason to believe not feeling tired is a bad thing!
