How much did your boobs grow during pregnancy?

I know everyone's different but just wondering how much people's bra sizes changed during their first pregnancy?
I was generally a 32J (in most Bravissimo bras) pre-pregnancy. Went up a back size and a cup size to 34J in first few weeks (one of my first symptoms, actually), then hit a 34JJ at probably around 16 weeks. I'm now 24 weeks and finding my 34JJ a bit tight in the back, presumably due to my bump pushing my rib cage out, but still OK in the cup so am going to buy a couple of cheap 36Js from eBay. Am still wearing normal wired bras as I need the support and am obsessive about wearing the right size.
But where will this madness end?! Am already panicking about not being able to get nursing bras in my size. Only Royce seem to go over a J cup but I've heard they come up small. Any tips? I know about Ewa Michalak but worrying about ordering from Poland as so hard to get size right. And can you predict what size I'll end up as when my milk comes in?!

I'm normally a 32dd/e but I have breast implants, currently wearing a 36E (i'm 19 weeks), this is my 3rd.

I had my implants and uplift after b/feeding DC1 and DC2 for 10 months each exclusively and losing lots of weight.

I wasn't planning on having more kids back then (5 years ago), but I split with my partner and met someone else and we decided to have a child together.

With DC1 I was naturally a 34e, I went up to a 36G when breast feeding, I ended up with terrible back ache so I do really sympathise with you!

Same with DC2.

I am hoping they won't get too much bigger this time!

If cup size is still ok just get your self a bra extender for the back, I am 34 weeks and using my same bras as its only my back that has changed size, I posted about bra yesterday so look up the post some good info from ladies on there.
I plan on using sleep style bras first untill my boobs settle then get measured hope that's some help, also on the post women showed me a site on how to measure your boobs if you did want to order the ones from Poland you should be able to figure out your size then once you measure them Hope that helps.

I go up about 3 cup sizes and one back size, I reckon.

You're fine to keep wearing wires as long as the wires don't press on breast tissue.

I think bravado do a crop top style bra which is great for night time and at home in those last few weeks. I wouldn't run for a bus in one, but they're comfy. I don't know the style as they've come out since I had my last baby I think.

For nursing bras, I wore Royce for the first 3 months (fitted at 38 weeks and 4 weeks postpartum at Bravissimo - think I was a 34j). After that I converted the wired bras I'd worn during pregnancy to drop cups. It was really easy. Would really recommend it as non wired bras aren't fun at our size Smile

I think everyone is different, my friend didn't change much, but I was a 30D and basically had peanuts for boobs... Am now almost 27 weeks and wearing a 36DD and they are still growing, about time I feel :D

SueV14 · 24/02/2015 17:28

My boobs still fit into 2 of my normals bras but I removed the wires. And it's now a wonderbra style push up look. Grin Liking that and would love to keep them as they are! :)

My boobs didn't change at all in pregnancy, I would have loved some growth and still the same now, tried to breastfed for 6 weeks and still the same as pre pregnancy ShockAngryHmm

I started at a 32dd, now I'm 32g (just about) at 22 weeks pg. I give it a couple of weeks and I'll go up another size. My boobs are growing like there's no tomorrow and they're giving me terrible backache!

happybunny2014 · 24/02/2015 22:19

I went from an A cup to a D and up two back sizes by the end of my first pregnancy. I stayed at about B cup afterwards and haven't moved at all yet in my second pregnancy and im 25 weeks.

RockCrushesLizard · 24/02/2015 22:28

I was 32hh or J pre pregnancy, wore a 34j during pregnancy.
My nursing bras were mostly 34j, I had one 34h, which I only needed for the first couple of weeks. It was an NCT one, they were the best soft cup ones I had. I found the Royce ones less flattering - although I know that's not the primary concern.
Underwired, I liked the Anita.

AnythingNotEverything · 25/02/2015 07:51

Rock - could you link to the nct one? It's great to get recommendations in larger sizes.

I know what you mean about the Royce ones. The shape wasn't ideal but they we're comfy and functional until I was happy to go back into wires.

NickyEds · 25/02/2015 09:46

Didn't change at all whilst pregnant with ds (they did whilst bf though) but they've gone up 2 cup sizes with this one. I'm just buying the cheapest I can find until I have the baby then i'll have a proper fitting for bf ones.

Number3cometome · 25/02/2015 10:12

I'm Primarking it up.

They do some really nice bras and cheap, and in bigger sizes now.

They don't last long, but my boobs won't stay the same size for long ha!

Im a 34G normally, and have gone up to a 34H at the moment and am almost 28weeks.. I have some bra extenders now as my rib cage has grown slightly but not the cup size so that seems to be working for the time being.. with my dd I went up to a 34I when breastfeeding so expecting to be around a similar size again.. then when I have finished I will be looking into having a breast reduction!
