Anyone over 40 going over their EDD?

I'm 45 and I know risk of SB increases if going beyond term with maternal age over 40, I'm desperate to avoid CS but seen consultant today and she won't induce me due to 3 previous CS's so has agreed to leave me until 40+ but do a CS on day 40+6, given my history of needing to overcook them a bit I don't think there's much hope of me going into labour before this Sad
Does anyone have suggestions or could share experience please? TIA x
