I think I'm feeling kicking! Second pregnancy, 18 weeks along today. I'm most likely to feel it when I'm leaning back in a recliner. I didn't feel kicking this early last time around. I started feeling it around 22 weeks that time, but the placenta was in the front that time, and it's in the back this time. When did you first feel kicking?

also 18 weeks, three kicks on boxing day and then intermittently following that :) could see the kicks myself by the new year when laying down :) she's alwas been right up in the front

I felt kicking (well, movement) really early on this second time around. And she's not stopped kicking the entire time - the problem is that now, at 35 weeks, a blow to the ribs actually takes my breath away!!

17 weeks with dc1 (anterior placenta)
14 weeks with dc2 (posterior placenta)

With dc2, at my 16wk appointment, you could see him kicking and the midwife could feel him under her hand. He was quite active(!)

I have a very short abdomen and my uterus pops slightly earlier and so felt movement a wee bit earlier than average.

17 weeks first time, 15 weeks second. Lovely feeling isn't it!

It's awesome, in the modern sense as well as the original sense of "awe inspiring".
