I want my 20 week scan to hurry up getting very frustrated with how time is going so slow and I have another 2.5 weeks, all I want to see is that my little chicklet is healthy and ok in there.

Doesn't help that I feel totally normal and symptomless! Which panic and worries me.

Anyone else in a similar position?????!

xx

I am the same now 15 weeks and symptoms have pretty much disappeared with not much of a bump I just want to know it's still there Smile

16w2d today, counting the days too! Good this is so stressful! I thought I will get calmer after 12weeks; no chance!
IN the 11 weeks to 15 weeks window had 4 private scan and after the last one I've been told by the consultant I should chill a bit. Promised I would. Now I'm looking at dopplers on Amazon :(

So stressful! I thought I would calm down too after my 12 week scan, then again after listening to the baby's heartbeat at 16week apt - no chance! I think this is it now ladies...constant worries from now on.

I've looked at dopplers too but I think I'd be an absolute nightmare if I got my hands on one!

Mine is next week, but it has been a long wait since the 12 week scan. My friend offered me her doppler, but I am unsure, I know I would go into panic mode if I couldn't find a heartbeat!

I've been here, I'm currently 21+2. What helped me was some basic stats. After 12 weeks only 1% of people have problems detected at the 20 week scan and I think the risk of miscarriage is similar. I could be wrong but these are the number I have in my head (a quick google may help). It helped me to rationalise it. That and a growing bump helped me to see it was still growing. The bump only really started being a bump around 16 weeks but its been in rapid growth ever since!

I looked into dopplers too and I'm glad I didn't get one. It took the midwife a good 5 minutes to find the heart beat at my 16 wk appointment as apparently it wouldn't stop moving and she said it was still tiny so hard to find. So if I did have a doppler, it would take me hours and lots of stress but obvious relief when if I did find it.

I still worry after my 20 week scan. In the past week I have started with definite movements (I thought it was wind previously) which I was getting every morning, until this morning so again I start to get a niggle of a worry but it is moving now a little. So I think pregnancy is the start of years of worry and there is not much we can do about it! :)

I'd stay away from the doppler. As per my post yesterday the MW really struggled to find a HB at nearly 17 weeks and they often don't try until much later. You could just freak yourself out. I know I would.

I feel symptomless too apart from exhaustion. And I can't tell if it's bump or fat yet!
