Lochia smells like vinegar

Hi guys,
Sorry for tmi but I'm 3 weeks pp now, my bleeding has slowed and its a dark brown but it smells very strongly of vinegar and has done for a good couple of days now. Was wondering if this was normal or sign of infection? I did have sex last week and not sure if that's caused any problems or not :-/ will ring the doctors Monday if it's still smelling!

Could be infection ... While you wait for appointment drink plenty of fluid to flush yourself out ... and change pads every couple hours or even every time you go pee to lessen the chance of worse infecting :)

Still slightly smelly :( going to ring the doctors now. Been drinking plenty of water, thanks for your response :)
