DAFT QUESTION KLAXON

Ok, bear with me here. In the majority of scan pics I've seen, the baby's head is on the left hand side as you look at it. On my 12 wk scan pics, the head is on the right. I'd say that a good 90% of scan pics I've seen the baby has its head on the left. Does this mean anything at this stage!? Will it eventually shift? Does it just depend on the angle of the scan? Does it even matter?!

Sorry, have just done a quick Google image search and it appears that it's about 50/50! Ignore me. I guess it's just coincidence that I've seen more left->right lying babies than right->left!

Hi DQK - at 12 weeks -- the baby will probably move around and shift position a lot so I wouldn't worry about it too much at this point. Not until say 30+ weeks should you start to think about getting it into position. My baby was in a great position for the longest time, but then suddenly at 37 weeks it changed (upside down and facing outward!) and I had to sleep on my side diligently for the remainder of my pregnancy ( still am! ) to get her to shift back around to the right side - which is better, as she can still move and swing around during labour.
