Is this joint pain pregnancy related?

I don't know whether to bother a doctor about my knee pain. It's been achey for weeks (before I had the positive), as has my hip on my left side (knee pain right side). Since the pregnancy both have become 10x worse, either one or both keeping me awake at night. I'm only about 6 weeks pregnant however I know things can be pulling and changing even at this stage. There is no swelling that I can see, and I can put weight on my leg, but as soon as I bend/fully straighten my knee it's agony. If it's normal then obviously I'd rather not take up a valuable doctor space, at the moment it's making me feel worse than the sore boobs/nausea. I'm not sporty, I do walk a bit (though less since the icy weather hit), and my weight is normal/bordering overweight (last bmi put me at 25 exactly). Any thoughts?

See a doctor! That way no matter the cause you may be able.to get physio to relieve the pain and give you full movement back in your.leg.

Thanks, I don't like bothering the doctor unless it's something obvious. Really wish my knee looked the way it feels, same with my hip. Ah well, I have a nice painful ganglion in my wrist, will show that off as well. Hopefully all these things aren't related or will disappear by week 12!

I've had the same! Pre-pregnancy I had weak and achey knees and occasionally hips, but since being pregnant I get quite a bit of discomfort during the night in my hips and knees, I think it's because I've only been lying on my sides whereas I previously laid on my front or back. I think the pressure from my knees resting on top of one another is causing the pain. I find trying different positions through the night can help, not staying in one position for too long. I only seem to get it at night.
