I have been on Dr Google, as was worried about the fact that my BFP has stayed really light and not darkened. I have also been having slight cramps which I know can be normal. However, Dr Google has suggested could be ectopic... I am 4+6 with DC2. Does this sound possible ectopic?

That's why I used digital tests where you have it black on white :)
OP, you really really shouldn't put things in your head because of the colour of the line on your test. Why are you worried about an ectopic in the first place? Have you had one before? If yes, get yourself scanned as soon as you reach 5 weeks. Until then you can have blood tests taken to check if your HCG level are doubling as they should.

Not had one before, but took so long to get pg (had mc as well) that I just feel like I am waiting for something to go wrong...

Mine was suspected ectopic this time, luckily wasn't but I was in agony with pain on my right hand side and had shoulder pain. My preg test was also faint but I'd just got my dates wrong. Look out for symptoms like brown discharge, pains (more severe than cramps), shoulder pain etc but remember you don't always get all symptoms. If in doubt I would get checked out but hopefully your just too early, test again in few days with first wee, good luck

It doesn't sound like my experience of ectopic pregnancy.

I had a period-like bleed at around four weeks, which I assumed was my period (more than an implantation bleed). Therefore didn't think I was pregnant. Had what I thought was a stomach bug, with d&v. Severe, sharp pains in my right torso. Thought nothing of it.

Pregnancy test confirmed I was pregnant at around 6weeks (only did one as the ovulation sticks I was peeing on were positive for days and days).

A scan at the EPAU confirmed EP. Too late to be medically managed with tablets so ended up in surgery.

Had I known anything about ep symptoms I may have caught it earlier and not have lost a tube.

It doesn't sound that your cramps are a sign of ep. But to put your mind at rest speak to your GP or give your EPAU a ring. Good luck.

Good luck poco. I had something similar happen to me the other day, sharp pain in my right hand side and bright red blood so I went to hospital, they thought it was ectopic but when they scanned me they could see the sac in the right place. I need to go back on Monday to check for a heartbeat but just wanted to say you should go and get it checked out and good luck and it might not be a mc xx
