Dueat44 thanks, it has been a nerve wracking time. I've been admitted to hostpial twice so far, had 2 lots of antiobiotics, steroids and I'm on bedrest (have been since it happened). Due for my weekly, scan, ctg, bloods etc today and that's the only time I'm up other than shower and loo. Also have a horrid cough, illness right now that I caught from dd, she has a chest infection and also ds has now got it. What happened with you?

Have had two induced and one spontaneous labour - have to say spontaneous was far better (4hrs start to finish) but the inductions were OK - if you really need to be induced then no reason to panic about it. However, just be careful of what else you are / aren't allowed to do after being induced - I was permanently monitored and wasn't allowed in the pool, both of which were a pain.

Jodie,

Waters broke at 30 weeks but no labour. This was in the States, so I stayed in hospital on bedrest until 38 weeks. They were supposed to induce me then, but somehow missed me off the list, and told me to wait another few days - two days later my placenta failed. But DS was OK (I was in hospital on a monitor so they got him out within minutes).

This time, I have asked for an early CS: I know otherwise I would be frantically counting kicks the last few weeks and fearing the worst.

Good luck!
