I'm having the same and I am at exactly the same point as you. I had an early scan today and everything fine, saw a heartbeat and everything, was told cramps are normal. Try not to worry.

They wouldn't offer me an early scan at the docs which is what I was hoping for but I think I will try and push for one! Waiting till that 12 weeks is horrible! What are your cramps like? X

I had cramps, trapped wind and loose bowels all three times in early pregnancy, so for me it is very normal.

Period cramps, stretching, twinges in my right side and wind.

And a low aching feeling.

Hi Coxxy hope you're ok. I'd definitely go back to your doctors and possibly see a different one? They might have refused you an early scan as it might be too early to see on the scan yet. I had one at around 7 and a half weeks which was just about right. Thankfully everything was/is ok. You need reassurance especially due to previous miscarriages. If anything gets worse take yourself to A&E and explain your situation. Wishing you all the best x

I had period type cramps at your stage & all was fine (DC now 6 months). I had spotting too which did get me an early scan. It is very worrying but you can have a MC with no symptoms, or a healthy pregnancy with lots of symptoms, symptoms don't really seem to mean anything one way or another in my experience. Best of luck, hope you can persuade your doc to change their mind about the early scan.

Thank you guys! It's so nice to speak to someone as I haven't wanted to tell any friends or work people yet! And it's nice to speak to people with the experience xx

I know how you feel, mumsnet has helped me so much from really early on! I don't know what I would of done some days without being able to speak to people on here! I had quite a bit of bleeding (like the start of a normal period) early on so that's why I was able to have an early scan. I was told it was something called a hematoma which was described to me as a blood blister. It eventually went away or absorbed itself on it's own but I will had bleeding up until then for a couple of weeks. It was really scary but a scan will reassure you and you really need that at a time like you're having. Good luck x
