Hormone levels of 43000 but empty sac

I had an early scan last week as I miscarried the 1st December then got a positive pregnancy test the 28th December. The scan showed just a sac with nothing in it so plan was to re scan in a week. Took my bloods and hormone level had come back high at 43000, I am scared stiff as dr Google says you should see something in the sac and heartbeat with levels this high x I am scared stiff it's going to be another mc. Anyone any experience ?

No experience but don't want to read and run . So its a 2nd pregnancy after the first miscarriage? I know it's really hard to keep yourself upbeat, I was in a similar situation, not that I had had a miscarriage so soon before but high hormone levels with an empty sac and the wait was awful but he is sound asleep upstairs and perfectly healthy, his heartbeat was heard a few weeks afterwards. Hopefully somebody will be along with wiser words soon. I hope it works out for you

Your HCG levels are really high,which is usually a good thing! Numbers differ from person to person and the ranges you find online are only indicative. My levels were over 9000 at 5 weeks and they could only see a sac,however couple days later they scanned me again and they could already see yolk sac and fetal pole. Sometimes it is only a matter of hours!
Try to stay calm and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

They thought I was around 5-6 weeks and just saw sac but thought hormones should have been like yours around that mark, but 43000 i am shocked (I am also shocked with levels that high I haven't killed someone lol)

Brererrabbit how far along were you when the sac was empty? Can you remember what your hormone levels were? I am praying there is something in the sac on Wednesday

28th dec you got positive, so are you around 5 weeks? If so, I had a scan at what I thought was 7 weeks (dates were wrong) and had empty sack...scan 3 weeks later showed baby 7+6 with heartbeat, just had another scan and baby was 11+4 so has nearly caught up to original date (a week out).
Bloods are positive, so please try not to worry, you might not be far enough to see baby. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome. If your bloods continue to rise I wouldn't worry hun xx
