Pregnancy and smear

Hi everyone!

I had a smear test last Friday so a week and a bit ago and she told me she thought my period would be coming imminantly! Since then I have found out I am 6 weeks pregnant or there and around I'm not seeing a doctor until Monday but Ian worrying she seen some blood or somthing now to suggest I'm going to mc! Ah anyone any ideas?

That could just be a thicker womb lining she saw? Or even just a throw-away/reassuring comment if you mentioned not having a period. If you're not seeing any blood or having any strong pains, try not to worry about mc-ing.

Your cervix probably looked different to a non-pregnant woman, so she assumed that must mean your period was imminent. I wouldn't read too much into it.
