I don't ever remember it being this sore 1st time around.

I mean with ds1 I never had the perfect pregnancy. It had its problems ending in emcs and it was painful towards the end, very but I'm only 22 weeks now and it's PAINFUL. I just don't remember it being like that this early. Is anyone else finding it this difficult?

I've been in pain since week 18. Signed off work at week 25. Now week 33 and I'm fantasising about voltarol and wine and I'm in real from about an hour after waking up. I'm so desperate for some release from it. Sadly, this is my first and it's becoming increasingly apparent it's going to be my last too.

I've been amazed at how much more painful I've found it second time round. Growing pains in first trimester were particularly sore

Me too.

DS is now 6 and I am 16 weeks pregnant with our second so a biggish gap.

With DS only a few twinges - little to no sickness and only a couple of stretchy feelings.

This time round - hyperemesis, dehydration, weight loss, hospitalisation and then general feeling crap and tummy / stretchy pains! I'm still being sick and on anti sickness meds which only help a little.

Even my sister and mum have commented to say I'm a whinger this time round!

Just don't remember feeling like this at all with DS.

Oh well - week 16, surely it should get better soon!!!

I feel much more drained this time too, maybe because I'm that bit older and have a DS to look after already.

Hi bubaloo interesting to read you are 16 weeks, same as me and my DS is 7 so similar age gap. This baby wasn't planned and was fretting about the age gap but apparently it can have it's benefits and the older one often likes to help out so I'm hoping it will be quite nice. How are you feeling about the gap?

This was a planned gap. I never wanted to have two close together and I'm really looking forward to it.

I don't think any age is perfect to have another but I like the fact there is a good age gap.

Me too - much worse sickness, impossible to get comfy in bed and I'm only 23 weeks with DC2. I'm sure it wasn't like this until later with DC1.

I had no pain whatsoever with ds1 until 34wks. He was born at 35.

This time been very sore since 11 weeks, now 15. Have been checked out for uti etc but whole pelvis is sore, especially bending/leaning/weeing. Midwife said just to tough it out!
