Do you need maternity pads? I see lots of hospital bag lists say to pack them, just wondered if that's the case if you have a c/s? And do you still need lots?

And this is much the same for a planned section? I have had an EMCS, but this one is planned and I dont know why I thought it would be a bit easier!

I would advise maternity pads, even with ELCS. Sanitary towels can mask signs of infection, but with a maternity pad, you can truly see what is coming out of you. Uterine infection and secondary PPH can happen after CS.
