Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No idea either. I think they're a horrible, grabby thing. You've been very generous buying for both. I hope it was something small on both counts.

Like pippin, I don't really like baby showers either... something about it doesn't quite sit well with me... I also think you are very generous to buy a gift for both mother and baby and I am sure whatever you have bought will be well received.

At work we always do a collection for someone before they go on maternity. Always a variety of for mum (chocolate, smellies, magazines) and baby things. Depends how big you're going. I normally just get a small toy/pram book and a bar of chocolate but other people would get a big present for mum or baby not both.

I have bought a thermos mug for mum and buggy book and rattle/teething ring for baby. Also got baby clothes on the way but might wait until baby arrives for those.
