Sore neck - any point in going to the dr

I woke up on 5 days ago with a sore neck. (This happens to me every so often.) Normally it goes in a day or two and normally I can dose myself up till it does. This time I am pregnant (15 weeks) and it is still here 5 days later.

Is there any point in going to the dr. can they do anything or could it be something more serious? I work and I am taking enough time off for appts etc. and do not want to wait to see a Dr who will tell me to wait it out.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Personally, i'd say no, not sure if a doc would be able to give you any advice further to the old ice, compression and occasional paracetamol routine!

Im in a similar quandry- have niggled an old rotator cuff injury and am sat here with a bag of frozen preas! Its not quite the same as some lovely lovely heavy duty anti-inflamatories!

Maybe get new pillows.

I wouldn't go to the docs for a sore neck.

Thanks - that was my thoughts too.
