so, am feeling truly dreadful today.
I didn't sleep and have been aching all day. I have carpal tunnel and calf cramping/numb feet due to sciatic pinching; legs and hands v bad last night and haven't got better during the day. I didn't get up and eat, which always makes me sick, so spent all morning vomitting, then hunting down cold cans f coke to make me feel better whilst waiting for toast to hit. This bit has settled now.
I have had backache and stomach pain all day, so have spent the whole afternoon in a pillow nest with a couple of hot water bottles fighting (unsuccessfully) back the tears. I saw MW on Thursday, said that baby's head is 2/5 engaged, v low and may be blocking urethra, as feeling like I need to pee, but can't. 3 US this week -ve for protein, ketones, WBC or any marker of infection, and culture last week was -ve so uti v unlikely. However I now feel like I constantly need to pee.
I have drunk 2.5L water this afternoon in an effort to flush anything out, but have had a couple of thimble sized wees, but that is all. Abdomen feeling more and more uncomfortable. There is no cramping or contractions, just pain. I have drunk tons of cranberry juice too.
I am 31+2 today, and its not been an easy pregnancy, but things seemed to have settled
Any advice peeps?
TIA x

Contact MW or antenatal at hospital. You need to pee and being in pain is never good. Being in pain and worried is miserable.

Call your delivery suite or midwife immediately for advice. It sounds like you may have a UTI and you need to be checked out.

Could you try squatting in the bath or shower to wee? Nature intends us to squat. But call MW anyway.

Call labour ward at your hospital. Tonight!

Are you constipated?

You should go to the hospital - they may be able to give you a couple of suppositories and see if that creates a bit of space.

Go to the maternity hospital.
