Stress and baby movement

Have to deal with a tricky work situation this afternoon, which is making me a bit anxious.
I'm not super stressed, but feel a bit nauseous/uptight/sense of dread.
Since it's started my baby has been moving a lot, presumably my stress levels are affecting it.
Google only seems to talk about lack of movement due to stress but nothing about increased movement.

Anyone else felt this and should I be concerned?

Plan is to get home and chill out this evening and I have a quiet weekend ahead if me for once.

It may be over now, but hope you are okay.

I see your time of posting was just after lunch - maybe it was more to do with that and you're just feeling more aware of it.

Good idea to have a relaxing weekend after a stressful day though.

The whole movement thing is quite tricky though. I don't feel mine has a pattern. There is more movement after food and drinks and more when I'm reclined in the evening, other than that it's quite changeable and if I haven't felt something for a while, I just have to stop and wait til I feel something - often with my hand.

I actually didn't eat much lunch as I was so nervous. It could also have been 'butterflies' as well as baby moving, but it definitely eased off after I got my meeting out of the way (it went well! Relief!) and I've still felt the odd kick since. I'm 22 weeks and the movements are just starting to be more noticeable anyway.

Maybe your senses are heightened due to the stress so you feel your baby moving around more?

I feel more movements when I'm stressed or nervous. I thought it was normal.

I have been stressed several times during this pregnancy and my movements definately increased and became vigorous as a result. Which makes you feel a bit guilty! But I have found going to bed with a hot water bottle and falling asleep does resolve it.

Its baby's way of telling you to chillax!
