Hiya
I'm in the day clinic at maternity due to pain and wetness. The lady looked at my cervix and took some swabs and said it looks okay but test results aren't back yet. The lady said I have a temperature and a fast pulse now have taken bloods and said they are going to look for an infection but my urine looks okay.
Anyone know what could potentially be going on?

Infection, when were you last checked for anaemia?
Hope you are ok x

I'm thinking it could be because I suffer from terrible anxiety and panic attacks and I'm here alone not having a panic attack but when I get nervous my heart beats fast and I get sweaty.

I've been admitted to antenatal ward while they do my bloods and they said I may have to stay in over night unless temp comes down

Anemia was tested for at 16 weeks and was 118 they are testing that too

Surely if it's an infection I thought I would have been in hospital opposed to maternity as it's about my body opposed to issue with baby?

No, if you have an infection whilst pregnant its normal to be kept on maternity, because they are better placed to make sure baby is OK too.
