I haven't made it yet but would you eat it if you did?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
TwigletFiend · 17/10/2014 11:47

Personally? Yep.

TinyMonkey · 17/10/2014 12:53

Probably not if it had raw egg in it, and I say that as someone who has happily eats soft boiled or poached eggs throughout pregnancy, so I'm not sure why.

woodwaj · 17/10/2014 13:17

Yeah soft boiled etc don't bother me either. Hopefully ill change my mind and not want it tomorrow ;)

I'm sure eggs are fine in pregnancy as long as they're lion stamped. Do it!

TheHappyCamper · 17/10/2014 13:27

Have you tried this one from Nigella?
No eggs at all (made with meted marshmallows!)
I made it last week and it was so good.

Nigella

Oh yes make the nigella one, it is fabulous

EvansOvalPiesYumYum · 17/10/2014 13:49

Ooh, yes - I've made that one from Nigella too lots of times (have provided the recipe a couple of times on here previously).

I use a mix of 150g milk choc and 100g of dark, otherwise some people (ie, younger guests) have found it a bit too strong.

Great recipe, though, and very easy.

Burmama · 17/10/2014 14:17

Wow, didn't realise it was a no-no. Have eaten it at least three times. Yum. 25 weeks now.

tethersend · 17/10/2014 14:25

Just came on to recommend the Nigella one. It's really good.

chocolatemartini · 17/10/2014 14:33

I would. And did Grin

JennyBlueWren · 17/10/2014 14:36

I would but now I've seen the Nigella one I'd be trying that (but that's just so I can scoff extra marshmallows).

Lookslikerain · 17/10/2014 14:41

I'd eat it. Well, as long as it hadn't been hanging about the fridge too long. But I don't worry about soft eggs either. In fact, choc mousse will probably be our dessert on Xmas day. Or maybe before, now that I'm thinking about it... Grin

Im glad this has gone in a good direction. Ill google the nigella one i was actually using lorraine pascals recipe which is really nice! But im happy to taste test both!!
