I would say sorry but figure we are all past the point of tmi by now Grin

I have noticed for some weeks that occasionally I get just the suspicion of discharge from my left nipple. Tonight I was having a look at it, as you do, when all of a sudden this pale orange stuff came out. Now my right breast is doing it too!

Dr Google suggests this may be colostrum. Or is it an infection??

I am 23+6, ftm.

Probably colostrum. i remember being similarly freaked out at that stage!

Colostrum, be warned you may need breast pads soon - for me once it started I leaked rather a lot at night.

Oh and don't freak if it goes from orange to watery clearish white and back again, its all milk.

Phew!
One more stupid question - after messing about with boobs, I felt distinct uterine cramping. I haven't somehow set off preterm labour, have I?

DH is being infuriatingly rational. It's not his frickin' tits that have developed a life of their own!

it'll probably be some braxton hicks, you'll have stimulated them to be stronger than usual. if you're worried tho speak to your mlu

This happened to me at 16 weeks. I don't remember it being orange, think it was clear but when I was expressing colostrum after my c-section it was orange. Get those breast pads out! X

Mine was luminous yellow first time and a clearish, amber colour the second.

It is likely to be colostrum.
