What the actual fucking fuck? I actually can't believe it. I had crappy, horrible MS from weeks 6-18 and thought it was all over. Was actually in the last couple of weeks just starting to think this pregnancy thing wasn't so bad after all. And then yesterday it came back... Sicky feeling, loss of appetite, uber-sensitive gag reflex, feeling like death warmed up, the lot. I'm back in my first trimester uniform of flannel hoodie with penguin decoration and pyjama bottoms, greasy hair, pasty skin, face like a smacked arse.

Has anybody else experienced this? Will vitamin B6 work this time, or is it a different type of MS? Unlike in the first trimester I don't even feel that bizarre gnawing hunger, just a complete lack of interest in food. A bit worried I won't be able to get enough nutrients in me for this crucial stage of baby's development... Gah. Sometimes I think this whole world is just a big joke at the expense of us women.

The same thing happened to me and I was equally distraught at its return!! It hit me again at around 30-31 weeks but only lasted for a couple of weeks. It coincided with a time where the baby was starting to move really strongly so I wondered if it was a motion sensitivity thing. I also had really low iron around that time so not sure if that also contributed to it. Hope your sickness passes too. Smile

Think the low iron might be part of it actually... It's at 10.6 but I do get tingling feet if I cross my legs, which is a symptom of iron deficiency. Maybe my ferritin levels are low.

Glad yours cleared up, at least I know there's hope it won't last until the birth! Smile

Yes had it from 30-36 weeks again, 38 weeks now and seems to have gone again xx

Yes - I had it every morning up to 21 weeks, had a couple of weeks in the clear, then 3-4 mornings a week up til about 28 or 29 weeks. Then had blood tests which confirmed v low iron so got iron supplements which seemed to sort it out but still have the occasional bout of vomming (maybe once a week). Am 33 + 5. It sucks! With any luck it might just be sproradic micro? Hopefully you won't be launched back into the full misery of the first round?

I only had very mild MS in the 1st tri but it definitely came back along with the food aversions at about 32 weeks. It only lasted a few weeks, but like my first tri was directly linked to how tired and hungry I was. I guess there must be some kind of similar hormonal surge at this time.

Thanks for sharing your experiences everyone. Good to hear it's not likely to be the relentless 3 month spew-fest of the first trimester. Christ pregnancy sucks.

Feeling a little better this morning so hopefully it'll just be sporadic. I dosed up on iron and B6 last night, and I'm going to avoid the coffee that I think triggered it yesterday, so fingers crossed I'll actually be able to do stuff today!

Yes I think eating regularly helps to counteract it. I was flat out at work yesterday and went through til 2.30 without eating, felt awful, went home and ate (cake Blush) napped, got up as DH was getting home and promptly spewed on the kitchen floor. Nice! I felt a lot better though

And here, although mire evening sickness as gets worse through the day...
Vile isn't it? Hugs :/ x
