Anyone EVER been given the wrong sex from a CVS/Amnio?

This is very silly, I do apologise.

Sitting here at 38+4 surrounded by blue stuff and thinking I haven't actually seen a willy for myself!

I had to have a CVS at 14 weeks and they told me the sex then. That's way more accurate, right?

Just wondering if there's a chance they could have got it wrong?

I have no experience if this, but surely, as it's an analysis of chromosomes, it can't be wrong unless there was a massive cock up in the lab?

I'm sure you'll be fine. Anyway, girls can wear blue!

I think it must be vanishingly rare!

I had an amnio and they said girl and she was a girl! I don't think they can get it wrong (unless as someone said earlier its because they get the results mixed up with someone else's). Did they check the sex at the 20 week scan? I'm sure it is a boy if that's what they said!

I'm just being silly, I know that. No one has checked the sex since I had the CVS as they told us from his genes so it would have been pointless. If he does turn out to be a girl I will be more worried about what else they have missed.
