I'm 10 weeks now, still no sign of feeling better from nausea and occasional sicknessHmm

So ladies... How far gone are you and when did you start feeling yourself again?

Did you link sickness/nausea to the sex of the baby? Love to hear from you all

There's a glitch on MN at the moment where some first posts can't be seen www.mumsnet.com/Talk/site_stuff/2202863-something-MOST-PECULIAR-is-happening-to-some-newly-started-threads?.

I'm 22+1 with ds3 and my sickness has only just started to go in the last couple of weeks (sorry.....Blush ). With ds1&2 it went at about 13 weeks so hopefully you won't have too much longer. With my sons it was more of a feeling sick all day long rather than being sick. Before this pregnancy I was pregnant with a girl (loss at 15 weeksSad ) and my sickness was horrific. I know its not the same for everyone but a definite difference to all my other pregnancies and seriously never been so sick in my life! Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well x

At about the time I threw in the towel and started my maternity leave, much earlier than I'd originally planned to.Confused

On DC1 I was still vomiting multiple times a day at 20 weeks. I'm currently expecting DC2 and it stopped after 16 weeks, but has now come back (32 weeks). It's pretty grim retching with a big bump while a 2 year old makes puking noises beside you.

I don't think there's any real pattern, every person and every pregnancy is different.

About 14 weeks mine started to calm down to more tolerable levels and has been largely very minor since with the aid of some medication. I've had hyperemesis though so not sure how 'normal' mine is. Hang in there, it will get better sooner or later.

16 weeks, then back at 23 weeks. Now 29 and still going strong although definitely mostly in morning now whereas before it was all day sickness and nausea.

weebairn · 08/10/2014 07:53

DC1- 12 weeks, all day nausea but no vomiting
DC2- 14 weeks, again nausea rather than vomiting but MUCH sicker

Both girls, I don't think gender is relevant. Everyone told me this one would be a boy!

I have been extremely lucky with this baby - 10-11 weeks I started to feel much better and now at 13 weeks feeling very healthy Grin

With my DD however I vomited until I was at least 24 weeks. It was horrendous Hmm
