Hi everyone,

I wanted to share with you London mum's a fab find of mine today (I don't work for them btw) it's a chain of charity shops called Fara kids, they sell high quality 2nd hand designer children's clothes. I couldn't believe some of my finds today, I ended up visiting two of their shops and bought some great pieces. All in really good condition, and cheap! I'm buying new stuff as well but I'm not to proud to buy 2nd hand stuff especially if it's going to be thrown up on etc Smile I came home with a huge bag of beautiful dresses, baby grows in fun colours, leggings etc I even bought a gorgeous Moses basket and stand for £25 which looked brand new, and also a new baby album for next to nothing. I'm fairly fussy and was really surprised by the things I could find!

The trick from what I understand is to visit the shops in nice areas. They have a website so you track down the shops.

Happy shopping mum-to-be's!
Ps hope my thread doesn't sound like an ad! I'm just really impressed and wanted to share my find with you all Smile

I don't live in uk!
But just wanted to share my story!
When I got pregnant with DS (first child) I told myself I will not buy anything second hand!
So we bought a brand new nursery set, pram, car seat etc when I got to the clothing part I was like "omg are baby clothing ever expensive" I still bought some new clothing for the beginning but once DS was born and the amount of clothing I had to wash and how fast he grew especially in the first six month that I started to look at some second clothing!

Now I'm pregnant with dc2 and it will be a girl. So far I only bought brand new bottles, going home outfit and when I found some clothing on sale otherwise her entire closet is from a second store!

All I wanted to say is that baby's cost a lot of money and it hurts to see when they thrown up on a clothing item that had cost a fortune Grin
It still drives my nuts when I go out to buy nappies and formula and see the prices. There are so many babies and so many families that can't afford to buy other things because all the money they get goes toward the baby.. Sorry for the rant! Grin
