Hello

I stopped the pill in August, had my period Friday 22nd August for 5 days day. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for the first time this month (September) We calculated the best week to conceive.
My period were due 19th September, which never came... 4 days later I did a test which was negative. I still don't have my period and now unsure what to do? when can I try again for a baby without calculating the best week?
I have had 3 days of sore nipples and a few period like cramps but no blood, just more than usual discharged. I do not feel sick or tired.
Do I need to see a doctor? do another test? or not worry about it.

Thank you for your help

There's no point seeing a doctor as there's nothing wrong with you. You will either get your period soon or not and then I'd do another test. Once you get your period you try to conceive about 12-16 days later which is your fertile window. If you don't get your period then you're probably pregnant so no need to worry anymore. If it simply doesn't come and you miss a period but aren't pregnant, very unlikely, then I'd wait until you've missed a few before seeing a doc. Good luck for the outcome you'd like :-)

I think you just need to wait. I had similar and tested for days and days to no avail - finally got a faint line on CD65...thought I was losing my mind, but no - just pregnant Blush.

Best time to try 14 days from the 1st day of your period , so if your period lasts 7 days then 7 days later . You can look up symptoms of ovulation as this may help you to track when to try . Good luck Smile

Thank you everyone for your messages.

Period arrived 10 days late. Can start trying again now ;)
